Dearne Valley Leisure Centre has a 25m pool and a teaching pool for lane swimming, recreational, and family swim sessions 

Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a swimming adult.

All weak or non-swimmers must remain in the designated safe areas of the pool - depth level of 1.2m at all time

Supervision Policy

Please familiarize yourself with our swimming supervision policy before entering the pool.

  • Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a swimming adult on a maximum of two children to one adult.
  • Children under 4 years must be accompanied by a swimming adult on one child to one adult basis.
  • All weak or non-swimmers must remain in the designated safe areas of the pool - depth level of 1.2m at all time
  • Inflatable sessions are for children and young people age 8-15 years only and you must be a competent swimmer to take part in this activity
